Scanote is an OCR app that turns paper documents into text you can actually use. Capture or import an image, and Scanote recognizes the text and saves it locally on your device so you can read, copy, and organize it later.

Scanote is designed with privacy in mind. All OCR processing and document storage happen on your device. We do not operate our own servers to upload, store, or analyze your scanned images or recognized text.
Scanote does not collect, through normal app usage:
All text recognition is performed on-device using Apple's Vision framework. Scanote requests access to your camera and photo library only so you can capture or import images for OCR.
Your scans and recognized text are stored locally on your device until you delete them or uninstall the app. If you use iCloud Backup, this data may be included in your backup and handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's Privacy Policy.
Scanote offers a one-time in-app purchase. All payment processing is handled by Apple through the App Store. Scanote does not receive or store your payment information.
